Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?
Having pets and friendly community members at Fresh Check Day helps create a welcoming, low-stress environment that encourages students to engage. Animals in particular are known to reduce anxiety and improve mood, and both pets and supportive people can increase comfort, connection, and willingness to participate in mental health conversations and activities.

This is an internal event for our students. We will promote it on our various social media outlets, post flyers in the common areas and in the dorms, and send emails to students. Yes, please share your logo! Thank you.

The event will take place on Regis College Campus outside of Maria Hall. I have a detailed map that I can email to you.
Once confirmed, we will provide the volunteer with my phone number and directions to a reserved parking space. Once they arrive at the event, I will meet them at the reserved space and walk them over the the event.

Fresh Check Day (FCD) is a campus-wide mental health promotion and suicide prevention event designed to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and connect students with available support resources. It features interactive booths, activities, and conversations that encourage students to check in on their mental health in a supportive, engaging, and approachable environment. We are expecting approximately 150 students to attend, and music will be played at a low volume to maintain a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Please let me know if you have any questions!
