Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?
Every year, the LSPO host an event to help students decompressed during mid-terms. Having the therapy pets is one of the highlights of our "Zen Zone" (formerly called Stressbusters) and both students and teachers enjoy them and benefit from their calming effects.

For the last three years we have used a secluded space at a corner of our school, with partitions between teams and enough space for students to enjoy the pets without problems. This corner is outside of the student cafeteria, far enough of any other happenings during the day. There is a direct entrance to this floor, so teams can park and walk to the building entrance without using stairs.

What is the expected attendance?
This even is for the whole school population, but there are three blocks for exams on each day, so it's less than a third of the school present at a time and most like to have no more than 50 students around the event (we limit the therapy pets to a few students at a time)

Have you considered how to promote this event?
This is a well known and yearly event at our school. Students, teachers, and parents expect this event every year, and it's advertised by us (through our website, newsletter, and Facebook page) and by the school.
Parking Arrangements
Volunteers can park in front of the B building, where a representative of our organization will be waiting for them. Parking is free at the lot in front or at the side of the school.
Will other Pet Organizations be present?
No other pet organizations have been contacted.
Outline any protocols needed for volunteers to come to your facility.
A parking sign to be placed inside the car will provided so Buildings & Grounds personnel is aware of the volunteers and pets. Visitor registration will be also provided by a LSPO representative so volunteers will not need to visit the Front office before entering the building.
