Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?
At MIT a lot of the studying and stressing over finals happens in our dorms. So, our House Team is always on the look out to develop and bring destressing events to our students and engage them in their community. A lot have expressed that dogs bring joy and comfort especially for those who are away from their family pets and could bring a much needed break from their studying to spend time with dogs and their peers.

We have two space options reserved. the first is our 'game room' it connects to our outside and enclosed courtyard and has furniture that can be moved to the perifery in order to have a larger space. the floor is half tiled and half carpet with water fountains and bathrooms in the room.

Alternatively, we also have our Mezzanine loung which is just above the lobby and has more space than the game room and is not much farther away from the courtyard just down some stairs or the elevator.

We plan to work with our students to poster around the building and utilize their social media to get the word out along with an email to the building.

Parking Arrangements
Parking will depend on the number of vehicles we need to accommodate. We have space in the residential hall's loading doc that may be used by us for free that can accomodate two cars. We also have one vendor parking pass that may also be utilized for free with a dedicated space behind the building on the otherside of the railroad tracks. Alternatively, I would need to gather specific names and info from drivers to request parking passes if we need more than those three spots.
