Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?
Our event is a Memory Cafe. We host this monthly memory cafe on the first Thursday of every month. The Cafe is a collaboration between D'Youville, Summit Elder Care and the Lowell Senior Center. It is a place for people suffering with Dementia or other cognitive decline and their care givers to have a retreat in a fun, safe environment.

It is held at Summit Elder Care in Lowell, MA on the D'Youville Life and Wellness Campus. 1081 Varnum Ave. There is a large space with access to a patio as well. The space is used for Summit's day program and allows for many people, We can set the space up any way that is most convenient for Pets and People.

Parking Arrangements
There is ample parking directly in front of the building. You do not need a parking pass. When entering the campus, Summit is in the back left corner of the campus. There are signs.
Will other Pet Organizations be present?
No.

Masks are still required for staff at Summit Eldercare, the participants do not wear masks. Here is summit's website: https://www.summiteldercare.org/

I was not sure what to put for how many teams to ask for. This is a fairly new Memory Cafe and we are still trying to build engagement. We typically have 6-10 people who come regularly. We hope to increase this number dramatically, but it is a slow process. There is at least 3-5 staff members that attend as well. I would think if we advertised about the pet therapy that we might get more people, but not sure.
