Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?
We have a lot of individuals that have a variety of disabilities, mental illness, and other struggles. Visiting animals is very therapeutic and cathartic for them, and would be an extremely enriching activity for them.

We are a day program for adults with disabilities. We have a facility with two large classrooms which would allow plenty of room. All facilities are accessible. I am sure almost everyone will want to see the therapy dogs, so in order to not overwhelm the dogs, we can rotate individuals in and out of the room if needed, or the dog is free to go between rooms. If not raining, we have a back sort of “patio” area with plenty of room.

We can share photos on our social media, but certain individuals do not have a photo release. We will share it internally as well as alert all upper leadership so they can attend. We will also let our sister sites know about this service so they can also reach out and book.

Parking Arrangements
Please go in the Whitney square entrance and go behind the building. You will see a little red cottage with a GAAMHA sign. You are free to park anywhere that is not a designated spot for the doctors office across the street.
