Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?

Wellness Fair--uniting the community and bringing awareness to the many natural, healthy, holistic ways we can heal from cancer. We want people battling cancer to heal emotionally, spiritually and physically. Pet therapy is a great way to heal emotionally. I have a vizsla named Cooper and we are a certified pet therapy team. Cooper is retired and he is living in Vermont so it is too far for him to come to the event. I know the incredible gift the love and companionship has been for me and for the people we visited when we were active as a pet therapy team. I also have two other dogs and when I was going through chemotherapy they are and have been an absolute blessing. They got me up every day during treatment to walk and enjoy the fresh air. I love, love my dogs and want others to realize how comforting animals can be for anyone but especially someone battling cancer.

We have a speaker from 12:30 to 130 so the pet therapy team can come for first half hour or last hour of the event. The team does not need to sit with the animal during the presentation. Before and after the speaker, people will be walking around visiting the vendors set up to promote community health and wellness.
