6-8 grade school event organized by high school students as a project for their National Honor Society project. I had a nice call with one of the students and she had great questions and concerns for the pups etc. Please see event details for more from the student.

About the Event
I am in a club called NHS which stands for National Honor Society. At our school, every student in the club needs to have a personal project completed by the end of the school year. My two friends and I have always loved dogs and thought it would be a good idea for the kids at our school to relax and de-stress one day with dog therapy. Our school is putting on a balance day where it will be a day to relax and get away from stressors, and we thought this would be a perfect addition to the day. We understand that you are a volunteer run organization, and we would love to help support you with donations made by the students of our school. I hope this works out, and that many volunteers are able to make it so we can have the best time for everyone involved, including the dogs. We are very excited for this to be an additional event at our Mindful Day, and we hope that this can come to fruition.
1. Location Description: We have reserved the Upper School Cafeteria for March 13 and the Lower School Cafeteria for March 16.
2. Other pet organizations attending: No, Only Dogs please
3. Parking arrangements: We have three buildings on our campus but we will only use the lower school. The lower school building is 201 Forest st, Marlborough MA. Between 201 building and 199 building there is a row of visitor parking. There is where you should park because the lower school lobby is right near it, and the lobby is very close to the cafe. We will also be there to help guide you.
4. Current COVID Protocols : We do not have any in place at the school anymore, however if your handlers feel more comfortable with restrictions, we are more than happy to accommodate.
Pets & People Event notes:
- Remember your ID badge and your dog in the vest or bandana with Pets & People patch. Cats are exempt from wearing a vest.
- Always have a face mask with you at any event. While protocols will be changing, it is important that all participants at Events feel comfortable and safe. Mask guidelines for each event are listed on Event Details.
- Be sure pet is clean, coat and teeth brushed and nails clipped.
- Please remember our protocols state no pet interaction. If teams interact with any other pets always watch each dog's reactions and be proactive.
- Do not post pictures of any individuals you visit as a Pets & People volunteer team on your personal social media pages.
