This two-part wellness event will have Northeastern University OPEN's peer educator-led Maintaining Health and Wellness program and then offer a space for students to destress with therapy dogs. 

1. Location Description: It would be in a large meeting room off the lobby in the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The dimensions of the room are 61x56x12 and the area (sq ft) is 3,416. It would not be open to the public, only to the students and staff in the N.U in program. As it is on the ground floor, there is easy access to outside for the dogs to relieve themselves.

3. Parking arangements: There is a parking garage connected to the hotel as well as an outdoor parking garage just across the street. Parking fees would be covered. 

4.  COVID Policy: All persons, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask indoors. All students and university staff are vaccinated.   COVID Policy 

5. Pets & People Event notes:

• Remember your ID badge and your dog in the vest with Pets & People patch. Cats are exempt from wearing a vest.
• Always have a face mask with you at any event.  While protocols will be changing, it is important that all participants at Events feel comfortable and safe.  Mask guidelines for each event are listed on Event Details.
• Be sure pet is clean, coat and teeth brushed and nails clipped.
• Please remember our protocols state no pet interaction.  If teams interact with any other pets always watch each dog's reactions and be proactive.
• Do not post pictures of any individuals you visit as a Pets & People volunteer team on your personal social media pages.
