About the Event

1. Location Description:  The event itself would be upstairs in one of the library's meeting spaces. Thom Valicenti , Service Coordinator, will meet the teams at the staff entrance in the rear of the building, and then lead them up to the room. 3. Parking arangements: Brandeis will provide visitor parking passes.  The university has a parking space reserved that is no more than 25 yards from the staff entrance to the library. Upon the teams arrival to campus, Thom will provide detailed directions over the phone, and will meet the team at the designated spot with the parking pass.

4. Current Brandeis COVID Protocols for Fall 2022:  On the day of their visit, visitors to campus are encouraged to check the COVID-19 Response website homepage to learn at which status level the university is operating.

 Pets & People Event notes:

  • Remember your ID badge and your dog in the vest with Pets & People patch. Cats are exempt from wearing a vest.
  • Always have a face mask with you at any event.  While protocols will be changing, it is important that all participants at Events feel comfortable and safe.  Mask guidelines for each event are listed on Event Details.
  • Be sure pet is clean, coat and teeth brushed and nails clipped.
  • Please remember our protocols state no pet interaction.  If teams interact with any other pets always watch each dog's reactions and be proactive.
  • Do not post pictures of any individuals you visit as a Pets & People volunteer team on your personal social media pages.
