We are holding our annual mental health awareness/suicide prevention event on campus (Fresh Check Day). We love having dog therapy teams present at this event where college student learn about how they can take care of their mental health.

About the Event
Regis College and Pets & People have a long history of working together.
Having pets and friendly community members at Fresh Check Day helps create a welcoming, low-stress environment that encourages students to engage. Animals in particular are known to reduce anxiety and improve mood, and both pets and supportive people can increase comfort, connection, and willingness to participate in mental health conversations and activities.
1. Location Description: If the weather is good, we will hold the event outside on a lawn. If it rains we will hold it in our Lower Student Center. We have had dog therapy teams in both locations over the years.
