The school is planning on integrating the event into their school day so the students have the opportunity to visit with dogs and cats at the end of the school year.

1. Location Description:  The event will take place either in a classroom or outside. If inside, every classroom has 1 to 2 window AC units to keep our pups cool. 

2. Other pet organizations attending: No.  DOGS AND CATS WELCOME.

3. Parking arrangements:  There is free parking on Beechcroft Street which is the front entrance. There is also parking on Oakland Street (back entrance).  https://maps.app.goo.gl/eodqdcy8Ji6VQQsU7

4. Current COVID Protocols:  None except that staff will need to be present to supervise students.

 Pets & People Event notes:

  • Remember your ID badge and your dog in the vest/bandana with Pets & People logo.  Cats are not required to wear a vest or bandana.
  • Always have a face mask with you at any event.  While protocols will be changing, it is important that all participants at Events feel comfortable and safe.  Mask guidelines for each event are listed on Event Details.
  • Be sure pet is clean, coat and teeth brushed and nails clipped.
  • Please remember our protocols state no pet interaction.  If teams interact with any other pets always watch each dog's reactions and be proactive.
  • Do not post pictures of any individuals you visit as a Pets & People volunteer team on your personal social media pages.
