About the Event

"As a K-3 elementary school, we have emerging readers who need to build their fluency and comfort level. Having therapy dogs provides a safe and calm environment for the children to practice their reading skills. It provides motivation for the children to practice and have a true purpose for reading."

The school is hoping to make this a regular once a month program during the school year to ensure all the students can participate.
