Why do you wish for Pet Therapy at your Event?
We think our community would greatly benefit from this offering as a destress activity and event. Our children's department has farm animal visits a couple of times a year that are incredibly successful. We would like to try this all-ages pet therapy event where adults and teens/tweens would also feel welcome.

The event will take place in our Program Room, which is the largest indoor open space we have. The room hosts movie matinees, children's play time activities etc. and can accommodate approximately 70 people. It is well ventilated, with windows all around and easy access to the parking lot in the back of the building.

There would be no alternate location for this event. If the Program Room is unavailable, we would re-schedule. But the Library will block the room in our calendar for this event upon confirmation from Pets & People.
What is the expected attendance?
As it will be all-ages, we can anticipate over a 100 people floating in and out of the event.

Have you considered how to promote this event?
We promote our events via social media (Instagram and Facebook), program flyers around the library including our program board, and will also be posting the event flyer all around town on community boards. These flyers will include your logo.

Parking Arrangements
We are at 94 State Street. There is 2 hour parking on State Street in front of the library that we can reserve. Depending on how many vehicles Pets & People will be coming in, we may be able to accommodate spaces in the back of the building in our parking lot (spaces are limited). This lot would be access from Prince Place road off of State Street. But this will have to be sorted when the event is finalized. We will get in touch with your volunteers closer to the event. Please provide us with their contact info.

No.
