About the Event

1. Location Description: The event will be held outside if the weather allows or inside if not. Trillium will provide tents, tarps, fans to keep the dogs comfortable. They will also provide dog bowls with water. If the weather seems questionable, Trillium and P&P will decide whether it will be indoors or outdoors the day before the event.

2. Other pet organizations attending: No, Dogs only.

3. Parking arrangements: Volunteers can park anywhere in our front parking lot. There is plenty of visitor designated parking. Direction to facility: Depending on which way the teams are traveling from, the GPS may take them down the dirt road portion of Old Right Road off of Route 1. That dirt road is not the best to travel down, therefore I suggest they enter Old Right Road off of Linebrook Rd, which is a paved road. Once the teams arrive they can park in the visitors parking section, there are signs labeling the spot. The blue line on the map below indicates the visitor area. The yellow arrow on the map indicates the main facility entrance, which is where I can greet the teams. The red circled areas are where we can set up the dogs. The smaller area is on grass, however there is not much of it. The back lot circled in red can be blocked off so there are no cars driving through the area. The area circled in pink is a small patio area where picnic tables are set up. We will be able to provide tents and some type of mat/tarp to lay down. I can take pictures of the areas as well  for a better visual if needed.  Picture will be sent with event email.

4. Current COVID Protocols: none

5.  Other info: Trillium will ask the teams beforehand for all information needed to clear security. The company will obtain the necessary badges for the teams ahead of the event and provide the badges upon the teams’ arrival.
